First, back in August, a poster named DataLaughing shared a 'spoiler' bookplate sketch -- the request had been for Zeetha's father, the great warrior Chump. As DataLaughing says, 'Look familiar?'
Meanwhile, with a large antipodean continent sort of getting in my way, I had requested a sketch of the Baron in his most intriguing Skifandran clothing. That, in fact, came yesterday:

And just because I like sharing, here's a sketch of the late Baronin Wulfenbach, to which everybody so far has said, 'So Klaus got his nose from his father....':

...and there we have a large section of puzzle drop into place. The eventual journey to Skifander will be all that more intriguing, now that we have a little more to anticipate.
Klaus cannot die. I will not accept such a result. (Ardsley I would feel FAR more confident of if I were sure who he's working for and if he didn't have Bang and Boris gunning for him.) Klaus is simply doing what has to be done, he's not evil. Evil people do not stabilize historically unstable continents (ie Central Europe) and work their butts off keeping it that way when it wasn't even their mess in the first place.
Of course, even when people DO die here, they can be zapped back. Ah, I know, Sirius isn't dead, that veil was a transdimensional portal and he fell into the baron's Europa, so even if he was AK'd someone probably zapped him back.
On the other hand, ask me how I feel about Tarvek Sturmvoraus...(Grrr.)
My problem with him is less that he's a romantic rival for my OTP Gil/Agatha (because hey, her castle has a SERAGLIO in it--she could just have herself a harem) than it is that on rereading he REALLY has a lot of explaining to do about his double-dealing with Lucrezia and involvement with this Storm King/Heterodyne Princess plot Zola's running. Gil, in a weird way, has never been anything but straightforward with Agatha.
OTOH, his father thinks she's the Other and is trying to kill her, so...awkward.
Today's and Wednesday's comics have switched my allegiance for what I infuriatingly insist on calling 'Team Tarvek'. *look at my icon pouting at Gil. Zeuxippe does not approve of Gil's affection for Zola at all*
Also, when do we get more jägers? Any jägers would do of course! But did Maxim ever even call her???? 'Hy haf nefer luffd' - is that still the case? Is our Maxim still single so any jägerfancying lass can dream of him?
I don't think we will know anytime soon. Team Tarvek where Agatha is concerned, Team Klaus for Lucrezia - personally I wish she would win the battle for the Heterodyne body -, and Team Maxim for... me? *would use puppyeyes art here to devastating effect if I actually ever felt selfish enough to draw art for my own use*
The teams stuff comes from Twilight fandom (for the record, I hate Twilight and I love hating Twilight). Basically, Team Tarvek would mean I want Agatha to marry Tarvek, and Team Gil would mean that I want Agatha to marry Gil. *cute smile here*
Oh and I agree about Maxim. <3 It's what I love about him the most. *grin*
Why, yes! I am known among my friends for always having a crush on the evil overlord in almost any story. Sauron, Morgoth, Winnowill, Darth Vader - if the evil overlord is suitably awesome and not too badly designed, whether male or female, I will become their number one fangirl. My Silmarillion fanfiction is scary and wrong and my ElfQuest roleplaying has been known to give other people nightmares. *does this cute innocent smile and twirls dark red hair* I think it would be fun to have Lucrezia in control for a longer time. Agatha is cute and funny and lovable... but Lucrezia is all about madness and power. And I always pick madness and power if that is an option.
